Scott Dorn, MS, L.Ac., DiplOM

Scott is the co-founder of Berkeley Community Acupuncture. He grew up in Silver Spring, MD, a suburb on the border of Washington DC. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, he spent some time in China observing firsthand the integration of traditional and alternative medicine into western medicine. Amazed at how affective acupuncture is, he developed a passion to learn and help people using this ancient medicine. After returning to the United
States, Scott moved to Colorado and graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is currently licensed in the state of Colorado and is certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and certified in Clean Needle Technique by AOM (Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Commission).

He believes that the connection between the mind, body, and spirit is the key to health. When treating the body’s physical symptoms, one must also treat the mind and spirit. A healthy mind is a healthy body. Scott also practices Chinese medicine in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver, offered by MySacredi yoga studio. Combining many therapies that connect the physiological processes of the body to the mind, such as yoga, will greatly enhance the way the body maintains balance and health.

Amy Kelly, CMT
Body Work by Amy, LLC

Amy’s passion for bodywork started in 1993 as an undergraduate studying pre-Physical Therapy at California State University, Fresno. She quickly became fascinated with my anatomy classes and fell in love with her first Swedish massage course. It wasn’t until 2002 that she decided to put the two together! As an undergraduate, her emphasis was in Sports Medicine, where she learned and studied modalities, treated athletes, and rehabilitated their injuries. After graduating with a Degree in Kinesiology, and 7 years of a Personal Training career, she decided to further her education in Massage Therapy. This is when her true passion came alive.

Amy combines her knowledge and background work in exercise science to personalize and tailor each massage and bodywork session to her client’s specific needs. As a Massage Therapist, her objective is to apply her unique skills and training in bodywork and massage to further maximize the benefits of personal health and wellness.
