Christy graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2011. She specializes in the integration of Energy Medicine and manual therapy to create a unique healing experience. Her personal style fuses Reiki, Quantum Touch, and Craniosacral with Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Trigger-Point therapies. She tailors each session based upon the clients' needs.
“My goal is to facilitate a healing experience for each client. Massage has transformed my life and I hope to transform others through healing with bodywork.”
Krista has worked in traditional health care for over 10 years, with the goal of being a nurse. After several years of work in the hospital setting she realized there was something missing and began her education in holistic health. Receiving a holistic health practitioner certificate in 2012, she found her love of nutrition and realized food is medicine. Also, realizing that the body was able to heal itself it just needed a little help, she continued on to massage school. Graduating from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2013 she went into private practice and found her passion for myofascial, structural integration and therapeutic massage. She also found her love for craniosacral therapy while in massage school and is now finishing her training with the Upledger Institute. The body, mind and spirit work together as a whole and with moderation, healthy eating, movement and self care there is no reason the whole can not be healthy, happy, pain free and dis-ease free. In addition Krista has been involved with energy work for over 10 years and is healing touch level 1 certified as well as Matrix energetics level 1 certificate.
Nicholas has been practicing massage therapy since 2005, focusing his training on those suffering from chronic pain and debilitating injuries with the understanding that pain free movement is not only necessary for daily activities, but for the overall enjoyment of life.
Nicholas also spent time at The Denver School of Massage Therapy as an instructor, passing his knowledge and experience on to future generations of massage therapists, as well as, continuing his own education, becoming a certified Kinesiotaping Practioner and Lomi Hawaiian temple bodyworker. It was with this passion for education and healing that led to Nicholas joining the Berkeley Acupuncture team, together, helping to re-establish the happy, healthy and pain free lifestyles that every BODY deserves.

I have always been interested in wellness and healing and how to support others in healing methods. Throughout my undergraduate education I delved into the study of human psychological processes, as well as how to support others through the ebbs and flows of life. Later, I became more interested in how the human body functions. This inquiry led me to study at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. A background in psychology coupled with my education in massage has allowed me to cultivate an integrated way to work with the body. I absolutely love my job and feel honored to work with the amazing clients that come to me. My style is informed by my belief that massage can support people on many levels and help to cultivate an awareness of mind, body, and spirit as one. I am talented at doing deep specific massage and love working moms and babies in prenatal and postpartum sessions. I look forward to supporting you through massage!
